What You’ll Do
- Test and balance axial and centrifugal fans using specialized software
- Troubleshoot performance issues and help optimize equipment performance
- Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and follow work orders accurately
- Write and update fan testing procedures and documentation
- Work with purchasing and vendors on supplied components
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers
- Help train team members within the fan department
- Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel, CAD/SolidWorks a plus)
- Ability to work independently and stay detail-oriented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
- Willingness to learn electrical testing and safety procedures
What to Expect Physically
This is an active, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment.
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Repetitive work and machine operation
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials
- Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Working around manufacturing equipment, tools, and moving materials
