Sales Manager - Livestock Equipment

Description

Sales Manager - Livestock Equipment

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base + incentives | Full-Time | Exempt

Lead the Strategy. Grow the Market. Build the Relationships.

Are you someone who understands agriculture, knows how to lead people, and can turn strategy into real results?

We’re looking for a Sales Manager - Livestock Equipment to take ownership of our livestock equipment and ProTec agricultural sales lines while helping drive growth across our dealer and customer network. This isn’t a “sit back and manage” kind of role-you’ll be leading a team and staying close to the action by working directly with key accounts, dealers, and customers.

If you enjoy building relationships, developing teams, and seeing your work translate into real growth, this is a role where you can make a meaningful impact.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 base + incentives
  • A leadership role where you can shape sales strategy and growth
  • Direct impact on customers, dealers, and company success
  • A team built on humble service, integrity, loyalty, and innovation
  • A role that blends strategy, leadership, and hands-on execution

Benefits & Perks

We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support you at work and at home:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Performance-based incentive opportunities
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Stable, team-oriented work environment

  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to results
  • Support territory planning and dealer growth strategies
  • Build a culture centered on teamwork, integrity, and customer focus

Dealer & Customer Development

  • Take ownership of key “house accounts” as the primary contact
  • Handle full-cycle sales: quoting, order entry, and follow-through
  • Ensure orders are accurate, timely, and executed smoothly
  • Partner with Customer Service, Estimating, and Operations
  • Strengthen dealer, distributor, and customer relationships
  • Support large projects, negotiations, and strategic opportunities
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service
  • Align sales commitments with manufacturing capabilities and delivery timelines
  • Provide real-world market feedback to improve products and processes

Performance & Accountability

  • Monitor pipeline activity, forecasts, and sales performance
  • Report insights and progress to leadership
  • Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and systems

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in agricultural or industrial sales, including leadership responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of livestock equipment or agricultural systems
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive profitable growth
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Willingness to travel as required

Preferred:

  • Experience in livestock equipment or agricultural product sales
  • Experience in dealer-based or hybrid sales models
  • Background in manufacturing or engineered-to-order environments
